Synology has decided to strengthen its staff at this time with various appointments. First of all, Clara Sauri will be the new Product Manager for Spain and Portugal. Sauri is a double graduate in Business Administration and Innovation/Tourism Management and Leisure Management from the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona and has an MBA in Strategic Marketing Management from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Brussels.
He has experience in companies in the technology sector in Spain and France, and joins the Synology team in charge of managing the Spanish and Portuguese markets.

Likewise, the company has also announced the appointment of Derren Lu, former executive vice president of the operating systems and applications business group, as the new chief executive officer. From now on, Derren will exercise the functions that until now have been led by Philip Wong, founder of Synology, who will remain as president of the company. The relief has taken place by completing the annual organizational adjustment that Synology has done to prepare for future plans and challenges.
