On YouTube, HBO Max unveils the first trailer for Return to Hogwarts, the reunion of the actors for the 20 years.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is 20 years old. The saga inspired by the eponymous novels is offering a special program for the occasion, which will be broadcast on HBO Max in the United States. As for Friends, it will be a meeting of the various actors who populated the 8 opuses of the saga. A reunion rich in emotion, therefore, for the actors as for the fans.
A first trailer has just been shared, and the magic continues to operate. We mainly find Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint. The trio will visibly return to the highlights of the saga, and reveal some anecdotes from the shoot.
We can for example discover a small excerpt from the interview between Gary Oldman and Daniel Radcliffe. They address in particular their common scenes and also, but above all, the relationship that unites their two characters. We also learn that we owe a debt of gratitude to Ralph Fiennes’s sister, who motivated him to accept the role of Voldemort. An enlightened choice of casting for Warner Bros., which will have traumatized generations of spectators with the antagonist without a nose.
Only one person is missing, JK Rowling will not be there. Following his statements on transidentity, to which many actors had reacted. Warner Bros therefore preferred to avoid inviting the novelist.
