Ted Lasso’s Marketing Campaign Nominated for ICG Publicist Awards

The longing for prizes of the Ted Lasso series, it seems that it does not stop at the corresponding contests, but also the marketing campaign has attracted attention of this series, since it is nominated for the ICG Publicist awards, where it will compete with 4 other series.

According to the guys at Deadline, the marketing campaign of Ted lasso has been nominated for the Maxwell Weinberg Publicist Showmanship award in its 59th edition to be held in March next year.

Behind Ted Lasso’s marketing campaign is Sara Carragher, head of marketing for all products available on Apple TV +, who is nominated with her team for the promotion of the first season.

Tim Merke, co-chair of these awards states that:

Although this year has been challenging in many ways, the four nominated television ad campaigns each exemplify the best strategic planning and targeted implementation, serving a large television audience.

Aside from the difficulties that the pandemic has brought to all, these programs have overcome specific problems in marketing to get to the top.

Ted lasso, will have to compete in the same category with 3 other series: Batwoman Warner, the second season of The Underground Railroad from Amazon Studios and Wandavision from Disney.

Last year’s ICG Publicist award winner went to the marketing team behind the Disney series first season The Mandalorian.
