And if you go into details, then absolutely all Model 3 and Model Y cars, as well as Model S and Model X cars of 2021 and newer, have this very “software error”, which in turn prevents the corresponding beep from sounding at startup, if the seat belt was not fastened.
According to the recall notice, you may be experiencing this problem by simply closing the door immediately after getting out of the vehicle. But be that as it may, the automaker is already planning to fix this seat belt horn error by releasing another unscheduled update “somewhere in the first days of this month.” In any case, it is at least encouraging that there are no reports of injuries, at least for the time being, there are no. And yes, some users may not have noticed this problem because the seat belt visual warning is still displayed correctly.
But even in this case, it should be mentioned that the South Korean owners of the company’s electric cars were the first to discover this problem.
