The Administration invested 164 million in printing and document management projects

The technology provider, TPS (Total Printing Solutions), published a few days ago the Barometer of Public Investment in Technologies Related to Printing and Document Management, made from the data of the AdjudicacionesTIC platform.

According to data from the report, during the year that has just ended, 163.9 million euros were awarded in 839 projects related to printing and document management, which implies a growth of 47% compared to 110.88 million euros invested in 2020 and 3% of the total investments in technology by the AA.PP. in 2021.

The Projects most important of the year have been:

  • The job provisioning service and user assistance by the education department of the Government of Catalonia for a value of €44,698,180.
  • The framework agreement for the leasing of printing, digitizing and copying devices, as well as their management, for the administration of the Generalitat Valenciana, ministries and autonomous bodies, for an amount of €12,304,155.
  • The framework agreement for the lease of printing devices, digitization and copying, as well as its management, for the administration of the General Directorate of Justice of the Generalitat Valenciana, for a value of €8,791,580.

By areas, the largest winners in printers, multifunctional equipment and scanners have been the UTE de Telephone from Spain with Telefónica Soluciones de Informática y Comunicaciones de España, with a project amounting to €44,698,180; Ricoh, with 47 projects with a total value of €23,377,204; Y Xeroxwith 23 projects totaling €10,703,468.

In the area printing and pay-per-use technology, the largest winners repeat. They have been the joint venture between Telefónica de España and Telefónica Soluciones de Informática y Comunicaciones de España, with a project amounting to €44,698,180; Ricoh, with 18 projects for €20,104,997; and Xerox with five projects with a total value of €9,443,242.

Finally, in management documentary and digitization projects, The biggest winners during the year were Territorial Tax Management, with a project worth €3,142,561; AYESA, with a project worth €2,818,080; and ESPUBLICO with six projects for an amount of €1,037,541.
