And it is that according to the information shared by iDropNews, the main series of smart watches will not be the only one that will be presented next September, but that the Cupertino giant would be working on a joint debut for both terminals.
Thus, the new Apple Watch SE 2022 is expected to arrive under a design identical to the current model presented last 2020with the availability of two different models with 40 and 44 millimeter dial sizeswith a unique aluminum finish option, and a color customization that will focus on its interchangeable straps.
That said, obviously the new watch will arrive with some major updates inside, with the addition of the new Apple S7 chipset, as well as new capabilities such as a new ECG sensor, an always active support, or some improvements regarding its audio output. Features that, in the same way that we have already seen with the iPhone SE, make it a fairly solid device with a somewhat more restrained price.
Although speaking of the price, as they assure from iDropNews, everything points to the new Apple Watch SE 2022 being a little more expensive than expected, slightly increasing its price compared to its predecessor, reaching an initial launch figure of 299 dollars (pending confirmation of its price for the European market). A price that, although it represents a great reduction compared to its base model, is still quite far from the vast majority of mid-range smartwatches from some of its main competitors.
