The Asus ROG Phone 6 will be presented on July 5, 2022, it’s official

Asus will soon unveil its next smartphone dedicated to gamers: the ROG Phone 6. The latter will be presented on July 5 and will feature a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, the latest from Qualcomm.

The Taiwanese brand will indeed organize a virtual conference Tuesday, July 5 at 2 p.m. sharp. Of course, it will be broadcast on the net and it will be possible to watch it live.

Asus is still betting on the gamer market with its ROG Phone 6

Asus did not play the suspense in its announcement. Yes, this conference will be dedicated to the ROG Phone 6. The brand has even already given some clues about its future smartphone. We thus know that he will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, the improved version of the 8 Gen 1. In addition to providing a small boost in terms of power, it is intended to be much less energy-intensive.

On the display side, we should keep the 6.78-inch AMOLED panel. Only certainty, it will have 165Hz refresh rate (against 144 Hz for the ROG Phone 5). For the rest, we should have a smartphone relatively similar to what the ROG Phone 5 offered us, whether in terms of battery, fast charging or photography.
