The ASUS Zenbook 17 Fold OLED will hit the market on August 31

Of all the new laptops that were presented this year, the ASUS Zenbook 17 Fold OLED was one of the ones that generated the most interest, and it is perfectly understandable, since it is a team with folding screen which uses Windows 11 and which comes with quite a powerful setup despite its small size.

The screen of the ASUS Zenbook 17 Fold OLED is, as its name suggests, 17 inches, has a 4:3 aspect ratio, resolution of 2,560 x 1,920 pixels, brightness of up to 500 nits, reproduces 100% of the DCI-P3 color space, supports HDR and has a response time of 0.2 ms. We can split it in two when folded, which will leave us with two 12.5-inch screens with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,280 pixels and 3:2 format.

At the specification level, the ASUS Zenbook 17 Fold OLED has a processor Intel Core i7-1250Uan ultra-low power chip that comes configured with 10 cores (two high-performance and eight high-efficiency) and 12 threads, thanks to the HyperThreading technology applied to its high-performance cores. It uses an integrated Intel Iris Xe GPU, mounts 16 GB of LPDDR5 memory and has a 1 TB PCIe Gen4 SSD storage unit.

Other than that, this kit has two Thunderbolt 4 connectorshas a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a 5 MP front camera with infrared (supports facial recognition), has stereo headphones, integrates an array of microphones and offers Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5 connectivity. Its battery is of 75 Wh and has a weight of 1.8 kilograms, which means it is very light.

We do not yet have details on its possible sale price, but we do know that ASUS plans to launch it next year. August 31. Seeing its specifications, and the only thing that is its design, it is clear that we are facing a premium model, and that its price will be adjusted to that reality.
