The Batman: unveiled the new official synopsis of the film with Robert Pattinson

Warner Bros. has released the new official synopsis of The Batman, the film directed by Matt Reeves and starring Robert Pattinson as a young Dark Knight.

As already widely revealed this standalone Bat film, after the abandonment of Ben Affleck at the DCEU, it has become a separate element from the rest of the franchise.

Pattinson will play a more “immature” and angry Bruce Wayne struggling with the start of his Gotham vigilante business. His character will live in a different reality from the one seen so far and which will draw, in some way, from the comic Batman: The long Halloween, a miniseries with a noir and investigative cut.

The new synopsis of The Batman

The Batman is an edgy, action-packed thriller that portrays Batman in his early years as he struggles to balance anger with righteousness as he investigates a haunting mystery that has terrified Gotham.

Robert Pattinson offers a raw and intense portrayal of Batman as a disillusioned and desperate vigilante awakened by the realization that the rage that consumes him does not make him better than the ruthless serial killer he is chasing.

The film revolves around the investigation and resolution of an intricate case that will see Batman face off against his most cunning and devious enemy: theRiddler. In addition to solving the dangerous scales created by the character played by Paul Dano, the Bat will also have to contend with other historical villains such as the Penguin (Colin Farrell), Two faces (Richard Moll) e Catwoman (Zoe Kravitz).

Cast, trailer and release date of The Batman

In the cast of the film, in addition to the names already mentioned, we will also find Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon e Andy Serkis to play Alfred, the faithful butler of the Wayne family.

The Batman will be released in Italian cinemas on March 3, 2022, one day before its US debut.
