There are a huge number of gaming headsets available these days and it’s important that you pay attention to the specs of each headset to ensure you’re getting the best for you and your Xbox, whether it’s an Xbox One or an Xbox Series.
When buying a headset for Xbox, give preference to those that offer a variety of connections (wired, wireless, etc.) so you can use it on multiple devices. Standard Xbox Wireless, which acts the same way as Bluetooth, is exclusive to Xbox. It’s a plus if the helmet is compatible since it allows you to associate it quickly and simply.
Another connectivity option available is to take a headset that comes with a USB wireless transmitter. You can also connect your console wired through a traditional 3.5 mm mini-jack or USB. Yes. The Xbox Series are backwards compatible, in terms of video games as well as hardware and accessories. As Microsoft said, all accessories on Xbox One work with Xbox Series and vice versa.
🤔 Attention, Xbox Series does not support Bluetooth
Be careful in your purchase: the Xbox Series X and S do not have native Bluetooth compatibility. In other words, it is not possible to connect your Bluetooth audio devices directly to your console. Which is not necessarily negative for the voice / microphone part, given that Bluetooth induces high latency in game.
