It comes to us from an unknown number with the excuse that the minor has lost or does not have access to his mobile phone. This at first should already make us a bit wary.

With this, what the attackers achieve is that we do not make a call to our son and continue the conversation through the messaging application. It must be taken into account that malicious actors will redirect it to obtain certain private data of their own through WhatsApp.

Basically our supposed son who is writing to us and who has a problem, is going to ask us for bank details such as the card number and similar to solve the situation. Likewise, there have also been cases in which a certain amount of amount of money that you can go immediately to that same number.

How to avoid these scams through the application
