There will be also Mel Gibson in the cast of The Continental, the John Wick prequel series which we know will be set about 40 years before the film saga, showing Winston’s rise to power at the Continental Hotel in New York.
Mel Gibson joins the cast of The Continental, John Wick’s prequel series
The character played by Gibson will be called Cormac but, unfortunately, no other details have been revealed about it.
What we do know is that The Continental will be made by Starz and produced by Lionsgate Television as a televised event, and that these will be divided into three evenings.
Greg Coolidge And Kirk Ward appear as writers and showrunners on the series, as well as producers alongside Basil Iwanyk, Eric Lee, Chad Stahelski (director of John Wick), Derek Kolstad, David Leitch, Shawn Simmons, Paul Wernick And Rhett Reese.
The first and third episodes of The Continental will be directed by Albert Hughes (Genesis Code).
All this while fans of the film saga await the arrival of the fourth installment of John Wick, expected in cinemas for May 27, 2022, which we already know will also be followed by John Wick 5.
