If the actress Imelda Staunton will manage the building of Buckingham as it did with Hogwarts (yes, it is the Umbridge of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix), then the whole court will have to tremble. And the first image Staunton as the Queen Elizabeth II of The Crown 5, the fifth season of the acclaimed series Netflix, seems to suggest with a single glance that this will be the case.

As announced for some time now, Imelda Staunton will be the protagonist of the fifth and sixth season of The Crown and, with a tweet relaunched by the main overseas newspapers, theofficial account of the series showed the first photo of the actress in the unmistakable dresses of the Queen.

Unfortunately, to see the new episodes of The Crown we will have to wait until 2022, when we will be able to see the Queen facing some iconic moments in the history of the kingdom, such as the divorce of Charles and Diana.
Imelda Staunton is the third actress who will play the role of Queen Elizabeth II in the series of The Crown, after Claire Foy, protagonist of the first two seasons, and Olivia Colman, present instead in the third and fourth season.
