the data sheet of Xiaomi’s smartphone becomes clearer

Good news for fans of Xiaomi smartphones who are eagerly awaiting a new smartphone with an interesting price/quality ratio, the Poco F5 Pro is coming to us soon, and we already know almost everything about it.

Redmi K60 Pro.

We’ve been hearing about the Poco F5 and F5 Pro, Xiaomi’s upcoming mid-range smartphones, for many weeks now. The Chinese manufacturer has already unveiled their equivalents in China, the Redmi K60, and these models should arrive with us in just a few months.

Before their presentation, we already know almost everything about the technical data sheet of the Pro model. According to Yogesh Brar on Twitter, expect the Poco F5 Pro to actually be a Redmi K60 by another name. He would therefore embark an OLED screen with 2K definition and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It would therefore be the first time that Xiaomi has opted for such a definition in this segment.

The Poco F5 Pro will be almost as powerful as a Xiaomi 13

It looks like the Poco F5 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, which would put it just below the Xiaomi 13 in terms of performance. The processor will be supported by 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, which is also not usual on Poco smartphones.

Everything will be powered by a huge 5500 mAh battery, i.e. 1000 mAh more than the Poco F4 battery. The battery will also be compatible with 67 W wired charging, but still no fast wireless charging on the program.

Finally, on the photo side, we will find an optically stabilized 64 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2 MP macro sensor. The selfie part is provided by a 16 MP sensor. Note that the smartphone will use stereo speakers, and the fingerprint reader will be under the screen.

It remains to be seen when the smartphone will arrive with us, and above all, at what price. Given the technical sheet, we imagine that the device will be sold at a much higher price than its predecessors, and could even pass the 500 euro mark.
