Again delayed GTA V improved?
If you still don’t understand why to launch the improved version of GTA V On PS5 and Xbox Series X | S, you’ll have more time to meditate, as the game’s release has been delayed for four more months. According to Rockstar, the reason is none other than the need for more time to refine and polish the final touches, so the original launch planned for November of this year is postponed until March 2022.
After being able to play it on PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 and Xbox One, at this point you will have no excuse to say that you have not been able to play it, so you should not complain too much about the delay. And yes, it may be that for many to be able to play it with graphics and 4K textures, new lighting effects and having the odd story to complete is more than enough reason to feel like it, but neither the delay should be 100% justified (we understand that they need time, be careful), nor should there be too much eagerness to have it in our hands.
Domino effect?
The delay leads us to think about the next piece of the puzzle, and that is that Rockstar should be working (or that is at least what 99.9% of fans of the saga think) in the next GTA VI, so Any kind of mishap in the completion of GTA V Enhanced could translate into delays for GTA 6.
In any case, it may be the opposite, and that due to the efforts put into the new installment, the most immediate project has been affected. It must be remembered that the latest rumors pointed to a launch that would not arrive until 2023 and even 2024, so the new date for GTA V sounds more like an adjustment in the times to make the wait more enjoyable. Nor should we forget the supposed arrival of the remastered trilogy, another project that would have tightened the times at Rockstar in an important way.
We are leaving until March 2022
Ultimately, our new trip to Los Santos in 4K at full resolution and detail will have to wait, so for now all we can do is settle for the latest trailer presented at the PlayStatiton Showcase. In the meantime we will keep an eye on future announcements, both of the exact and final date of GTA V, as well as any type of information related to GTA 6 and the remastered trilogy.
