A few weeks ago, I informed you of the agreement that Apple had reached to acquire the rights to the next film starring Ewan McGregor and Ethan Hawke entitled Raymond and Ray, a film whose filming It will begin in the next few weeks and will do so in Virginia.

This information has been released by the Governor media, who claim that projects like Raymond and Ray “Highlight and publicize all that Virginia has to offer” and that the state looked forward to “working with the exceptional film crew and the financial benefits that a film of this size will bring to Virginia workers and businesses.”

The director of the film is Rodrigo García. In the production are Alfonso Cuarón, Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn who affirm that they were inspired to shoot in Virginia after the Virginia Film Festival and they were “delighted” with the opportunity.

The state of Virginia offers grants in addition to the possibility of contracting low-interest credits, the exact amount of which will depend on the number of Virginia workers who employ the program, the goods and services purchased during the filming and other measures such as the promotion of tourism.

Raymond and Ray follows stepbrothers Raymond (played by Ewan McGregor) and Ray (played by Ethan Hawke) who have lived in the shadow of a terrible father. Somehow, each of them still has a sense of humor, and their funeral is an opportunity for them to reinvent themselves.
