In addition, the opening of this region estimates that between its construction and its operation, more than 1,300 full-time jobs have been created.

The company proposed an investment of 2,500 million euros over a decade for the construction and start-up of the AWS region. The company’s region in Spain is located in Aragon, an area for which the company has also launched an AWS InCommunities Fund, endowed with 150,000 euros, to help local groups, schools and organizations to start different impact projects in the local community.

With the launch of the AWS Europe (Spain) Region, AWS now has 93 Availability Zones in 29 geographic Regions.
