The French Chamber of Commerce and Attico promote business relations between Spain and France

The relations between Spain and France are increasingly narrow at the business level. In this context, the French Chamber of Commerce in Barcelona and the Aticco ecosystem have recently signed an agreement to create a program that connects startups and corporations from both markets. Through this collaboration, the two actors establish a relationship to jointly promote business exchange between the two neighboring countries through advice, training and networking events.

In the words of Christian Marion, general director of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Barcelona: “This agreement highlights Barcelona as a hub for attracting talent and entrepreneurship for French companies. The result of this alliance will continue through a program so that companies can establish themselves in the city and expand the business ecosystem between France and Spain, consolidating Barcelona and our institution as a first-rate international connectivity hub. From the Chamber, we contribute our expertise in both markets and act as a natural link between startups and corporates”.

The program is aimed both at Spanish companies – emerging or consolidated – that want to establish themselves in France, as well as French companies that seek to open up to the Spanish market. The French Chamber of Commerce will offer personalized advice to interested projects in person from the flexible workspaces of Aticco Workspaces or online, so companies from anywhere in Spain and France can apply. Likewise, the professionals who are part of Aticco Ecosystem will benefit from these mentorships with the Chamber thanks to this agreement.

Flexible housing solution

In addition, from Aticco they will facilitate the arrival of French companies in Spain by offering them the possibility of locating in one of their six coworking centers; and to accommodate the teams in the flexible housing solution Aticco Living under advantageous conditions. For their part, the members of the Chamber will also be able to enjoy all the benefits that Aticco provides through its workspace and accommodation solutions, as well as a multitude of training and content.

According to Gabriel Espín, CEO of Aticco Ecosystem, this represents a landing pad that will favor the arrival of foreign companies to our country and to the city of Barcelona: “In recent years we have seen that Spain is a magnet for international talent and more and more teams want to establish themselves here. However, relocating to a new country is not always easy and that is why at Aticco we want to contribute by providing resources and giving newly arrived companies the opportunity to integrate into the local innovation ecosystem and share spaces with other entrepreneurs”.

To foster these connections between the French and Spanish communities, the French Chamber of Commerce in Barcelona and Aticco will organize monthly networking events, round tables and presentations.
