With its glass back, the S22 is more sensitive to falls than its predecessor, the Galaxy S21, whose back was made of plastic. Same story on the side of the S22 + and the S22 Ultra. Despite the loss of many pieces of glass, the camera remains fully functional.

For the record, this is not the first drop test to point fingers the fragility of the latest Samsung smartphones. A few days ago, a test carried out by a YouTuber had already demonstrated the fragility of the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The high-end smartphone had completed the test completely out of service. As Allstate notes, the curved edges help accentuate the phone’s fragility.
