New GoPro Hero 10 Black uncovered
From the hand of WinFuture comes a huge leak of the next GoPro camera. Continuing with the nomenclature that we had known until now, that of the new model will be the GoPro Hero 10 Black, and although aesthetically it does not bring great changes compared to the Hero 9 Black that we already tested last year, it seems that the manufacturer has respected the very functional and efficient design of its camera to focus on what is truly important: the interior.
And the big change will be focused on a new processor called GP2, which will offer greater performance when dealing with video, being able to reach resolutions 5.3K at 60 images per second, a brand that in last year’s model stayed at 30 images per second. That will be the maximum resolution for video recording, however, lower resolutions will also improve significantly, being able to reach the following figures:
- 5.3K at 60 fps
- 4K at 120 fps
- 2.7K at 240 fps
As you can see, we can record slow motion videos at a spectacular resolution of 2.7K (2,704 x 2028 pixels), not to mention recording in format 4K at 120 frames per second. It is incredible that a small of this size is capable of offering such performance, so we can’t wait to see the image quality it offers.
Outwardly it does not seem that it will offer notable changes, and the only doubt we have is on the main screen, which we are not sure if it will arrive with a slightly larger size.
A sensor with more resolution
We will also notice the qualitative leap in photography, since the new sensor included goes from 20 megapixels to 23 megapixels. This jump in resolution should allow a stabilization system that sacrifices less resolution than last year, although we will see exactly what the results of this system are. System, by the way, that has been improved with the HyperSmooth 4.0 function, a stabilization system whose previous generation already worked incredibly well, so we are looking forward to knowing the new advantages it offers. something that it will continue to offer is the function of using the GoPro as a webcam, a function that users like and that gets you out of more than one trouble.
When will the new GoPro be unveiled?
At the moment the only thing that has been known about this new camera are the details exposed, since it seems that the official images have been leaked and what could be the press release or the technical sheet of the product. To know its launch date and price we will have to wait for the manufacturer to officially pronounce itself, something that should not take long to happen, since the Hero 9 Black was presented last year in mid-September, so we hope that we may soon have an announcement about on an approximate date that we already know.
