The Green Knight: the Green Knight meets King Arthur, in the new clip from the film

As the film’s North American release date approaches, The Green Knight has returned to show itself in one new clip released exclusively by IGN, and in which the Green Knight meets King Arthur for the first time.

For the uninitiated, in fact, the film is a reinterpretation of Arthurian myths, directed by the director David Lowery (The Invisible Dragon). Dev Patel will be the protagonist of the story playing Sir Gawain, “The reckless and stubborn nephew of King Arthur, who embarks on a mission to face the Green Knight of the same name, a giant green-skinned stranger.”

Here is the official and complete synopsis of the film, based on the 14th century chivalric poem entitled Sir Gawain and the Green Knight:

An epic fantasy adventure based on the timeless Arthurian legend, THE GREEN KNIGHT tells the story of Sir Gawain (Dev Patel), King Arthur’s reckless and headstrong nephew, who embarks on a daring quest to confront the eponymous Green Knight, a gigantic stranger with emerald skin.
