The spectacular new Huawei watch has already landed in Spain. With a design that is very consistent with respect to the previous generation, the device continues to attract attention due to its excellent finishes and complete functionality, however, there is a detail that could still be in the offing and that for now the manufacturer has preferred not to point out.
A spectacular smartwatch
The first thing we see in the design of the watch is that its 3D curved glass allows to obtain a look much closer to the classic watches of always. You will like this detail if you are looking for a watch that is as similar as possible to analog watches, in addition to coming in versions with a leather strap and a titanium strap, both with exceptional finishes.
Both the Pro model and the normal model have a 1.5 inch screencapable of withstanding 30 meter immersions with their 5 ATM water resistance and the IP68 certification.
In the care of your health
Smart watches have become essential tools for many people’s daily lives, which is why Huawei continues to improve its health functions with more registers capable of monitoring lung health with values such as respiratory rate, range of SpO2, the sounds of coughing or air pollution. All these values return an evaluation with the help of an algorithm developed by Huawei.
There is no shortage of sleep monitoring functions with TruSleep 3.0 and the more than 100 sport modes with which to monitor our sporting activity.
A function that does not reach Europe
However, behind this launch in Europe (the watch also reaches other countries besides Spain) there is also a great absence. We talk about the new hyperglycemia risk functiona measurement based on statistics and the analysis of other types of values that determines if we are at risk of suffering from hyperglycemia.
To get it, the watch analyzes 10 different indicators in 60 seconds, and checks the results against a database of previous values. It is therefore not a blood sugar measurement as you might imagine, so it does not provide precise values. Still, this function is only available in chinaprobably because it is the first place where the manufacturer will do its tests and where they have possibly been able to get the license to use it more quickly.
At the moment we do not know if the European version will get this same function later with a simple update (in theory the manufacturer could do it without problems), so we will be attentive to future announcements from the manufacturer to clear up doubts.
