Smartphones with small dimensions are rare on the market, but Apple offers two good references, including the iPhone SE 2020. The latter brings up to date the first model released in 2016, with the technology of last year. Right now, it’s still a great choice to get into the Apple ecosystem without paying a heavy price.
On the occasion of the sales, we currently find the model with 128 GB of storage at 489 euros instead of 539 euros usually. It’s the same price as the 64GB version of the 2020 iPhone SE.

- What are the specifications of the iPhone SE 2020?
The iPhone SE 2020 includes components used by old iPhones. We find, for example, the A13 Bionic chip – that of the iPhone 11 – whose power can still meet the majority of needs in 2021. On the photo side, we find the 12-megapixel mono sensor that was embedded in the iPhone XR .
With an 1820 mAh battery, the autonomy is not the strong point of the iPhone SE 2020: it can last all day, as long as your use is not intensive. However, it uses the wireless charging system of high-end models to more easily recover energy, if necessary.
- What is its main characteristic?
This is obviously the return of the classic design of Apple smartphones, which was for the last time sported by the iPhone 8 in 2018. We then find the Home button equipped with Touch ID for unlocking, with large borders, in top and bottom of the Retina display (TrueTone compatible). The latter with a diagonal of only 4.7 inches makes the iPhone SE 2020 incredibly compact, and therefore very comfortable in the hand.
