The Understanding Awards, organized by the Fundación Empresa y Sociedad, with Ibercaja as a strategic partner, has already opened the registration period for candidacies for the ninth edition. They will recognize cases of collaboration between large companies and startups, with the aim of generating a change in society by bringing the needs of companies and the digital solutions offered by the entrepreneurial world closer together. Specifically, they focus on scaleups, startups that already have large companies as reference clients.
Reception of applications will be open until next Monday, October 17and cases will be awarded in six categories: Marketing and Sales, Human Resources, Operations, Sustainability, Longevity and Third Sector.
The awards consist of public recognition and dissemination in the media and activities related to Empresa&Society and its B2B ecosystem, of more than 6,500 business managers and scaleups. Among the latter are the B2Bonline cases, which will incorporate the finalist cases of each modality to their YouTube channel.
Large companies such as Sacyr, Cibernos, Wuolah, Verti, IT8, Grupo Gimeno, Adevinta, Farmacias Mia, CGI, Naturgy, Reale Seguros and Calidad Pascual, and entities such as the Red Cross and the Zaragoza City Council were protagonists of the latest edition. Together with them, consolidated startups such as Detektia, Occam, Product Hackers, TaxDown, Bizaway, Consultia Business Travel, Trioteca, Orquest, Daysk, TechHerox, DoGood, Venvirotech, Piperlab and Imascono.
The Understanding Awards will be delivered in Madrid on December 13, at the Santoña Palace of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce, and the winning cases will be chosen by a jury of independent professionals from the world of business and innovation.
