The wait has been long, but we already know the final, minimum and recommended requirements of King of Fighters XV, the next installment of the well-known SNK fighting franchise, and one of the most important, and most beloved classics, history, which is also one of my all-time favorites. It will keep the focus of The King of Fighters XIV, but it will bring important improvements.
I remember perfectly the first time I enjoyed this franchise. I was fortunate to play the first installment, known as The King of Fighters 94 And it is that, as many of our readers will remember, before each new installment was differentiated by its year of release. At that time I played on arcade machines, and later I was able to enjoy The King of Fighters 95, The King of Fighters 96, The King of Fighters 97 and The King of Fighters 98 on PS1.
From there, I followed the franchise on Dreamcast, although from The King of Fighters 2003 I put it aside a bit. With The King of Fighters XIII, I resumed my relationship with her, and as you might have guessed, I can’t wait to “get the hang of” The King of Fighters XV. Its launch is scheduled for February 17, 2022, so we will still have to wait a little longer.

This seems to me to be a very successful move by SNK, since with this multiplatform launch it allows the consumer to choose in which store they want to buy the game. It is available in two versions, the standard and the “deluxe”, which includes a total of six new characters that will arrive as DLC after launch.
By making the pre-purchase we can get a special costume from “Garou Mark of the Wolves” for Terry Bogard and a classic outfit for Leona. It is important that you keep in mind that this promotion will only be active until March 9, 2022, at least according to the information that appears on Steam.
The King of Fighters XV minimum requirements

With this setup, we should be able to enjoy The King of Fighters XV on 1080p without any problem, although we may have to reduce the graphic quality to maintain a total fluidity. In any case, they are modest requirements.

- 16 GB of RAM.
- 6GB GTX 1060 or 4GB Radeon RX 480 graphics card.

If we reach this level, we can play it in maximum quality and in resolution 1440p without problems. As we can see, this level of requirements is not at all exaggerated, and any gaming PC assembled in the last six years should meet them without problem, since those 6 GB GTX 1060 and 4 GB RX 480 are equivalent, in previous generation models, to a GTX 980-Radeon R9 390X.
The King of Fighters XV will also be available for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X. A total of 39 fighters, will maintain the classic three-on-three team fighting system, as well as the competitive online mode, and will have a «DJ Station» where we can play 300 songs of all the games that make up the franchise, including such popular songs as “Tears” or “Arashi no Saxophone.” If you are true fans of the franchise, you already know which character each song belongs to;).
