The days roll by and Marvel He has a big problem ahead. It turns out that the second season of Loki opens soon and its official trailer is about to candy to come out. The problem? That in it, of course, appears one of the most problematic of the moment in Hollywood (and also one of the most rejected, as we have been able to learn after the massive cancellation of their work contracts). Putting things like this, what measure is the Disney studio going to take?
Jonathan Majors: a serious problem for Disney
This was going to be one of the Jonathan Majors years and it really is, albeit for the most undesirable reasons. Shortly after it was released Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, in which he has the important role of the villain of the tape, the actor was arrested for “several counts of assault in the third degree, three counts of attempted assault in the third degree, one count of aggravated harassment in the second degree, and one count of second-degree harassment,” according to the Manhattan district attorney’s office. The serious argument with his then partner ended up with Majors in jail, thereby causing a whole tsunami within his career.
And since then, the actor has lost several contracts advertising as well as the option of working on several films that he had on the table. Even his agency and manager have turned their backs on him, while former “colleagues” in the sector have not hesitated to talk about his violent and difficult character.
Jeff Sneider, known for his leaks within the world, recently pointed out in a podcast that “Marvel has not made any decision regarding Jonathan Majors, but have met or spoken with his agent to discuss potential options moving forward.” Sneider also leaves no room for doubt when indicating that “someone like Damson Idris is the type of person who [Marvel] I could look to replace it.”
Even so, Disney continues to say nothing officially and Kang, the great villain of Phase 5 and 6, is one of the essential pieces of the entire UCM framework. Without going any further, he is one of the main protagonists of the company’s next TV premiere: the second season of Loki.
What will happen to everything recorded in Loki?
As you may remember, Kang the Conqueror appeared for the first time in the last episode of the first season of Loki. It was a first contact with the character, to which Jonathan Majors has managed to give a unique charisma. After that, the villain slipped into Quantumania ratifying his power and importance at the UCM and leaving everyone wanting more.
Now it should appear in the second season about Thor’s brother and, of course, the leaks indicate that Marvel has already prepared the trailer to publish it, waiting to see how things go for Majors.
And it is that this one faces trial next May 8so everything could be prepared with a view to seeing how the actor escapes and then proceed with the premiere of the trailer or instead, even make the appropriate modifications… We will note the date to be attentive…
