Vanguard is coming
Activision yesterday published an image with which to promote the new season of Warzone, season 5, showing the image of one of the new operators along with a series of numbers that seem to remind a display of a countdown. Whatever it is, the really interesting thing was not in the outcome of season 4 and the arrival of season 5, but in how the next Call of Duty it will be directly related to Warzone.
If you look closely, the image in question has a background composed of Japanese characters that could well be a simple tribute to the Matrix aesthetics (put something to think about), but in reality it hides a secret message that Maynard has been able to decipher. In one of the columns there are some characters that form a perfectly composed phrase and in which the phrase “Vanguard coming“, Which if completed would be something like” Vanguard is coming. “
You just have to rotate the image 90 degrees to be able to read the characters ヴ ァ ン ガ ー ド 来 た る correctly, and after translating them, we will see that the message is clear. If we remember the latest rumors, Vanguard It would be the next title of the new installment of Call of Duty. So the image would be leaving us what is the first great clue about the new release. But why with Warzone?
Some of the scrolling Japanese text in this image that repeats a bunch literally says “Vanguard Upcoming”

Vanguard will take us to WWII
The events that have taken place in the history of Warzone can only lead to a single outcome: a World War. With this context, it is easy to think of the link that the Warzone story will have with the plot that Vanguard will deliver, so it makes sense to link both game modes to be able to jump to the new installment.
In addition, we must have the gigantic user base that Warzone has, so all kinds of rumors and theories are multiplied more than ever and it allows us to amplify the message more quickly. So, if you have to promote a new Call of Duty, nothing better than using Warzone as a shuttle. It works? We have not the slightest doubt about it.
