The DJI Mini is renewed full of new features
Much has been speculated about this new DJI Mini 3 Pro which has just been announced. Already last month we learned that the team would continue to meet the weighing standard less than 250 grams so that it does not require a license to be flown in many countries, as well as a new camera, thanks to the fact that there was a great leak that ended up being true.
The main attraction of this new drone is its collision avoidance system. It is a group of sensors that will monitor all the space around the drone to prevent us from accidentally hitting it with a wall. This is great news, because if we add up all the advances that we already know about in products in this category, we can assure you that putting this new device to flight will be very easy. The learning process is simplified at the same time that it will allow us to lose the fear of breaking our drone.
The DJI Mini 3 Pro camera will give a lot to talk about
However, the system to prevent shocks is not the only feature in which this DJI Mini 3 Pro stands out compared to its predecessors. His camera now has a much larger 1/1.3-inch sensor, with a lens capable of capturing much more light with a maximum aperture of f/1.7. This new camera allows record at 4K and 60 FPStwice the frame rate of the DJI Mini 2. In addition, the new drone supports the HDR recording (limited to 30 FPS), something that will substantially improve the recordings when we go from a very light environment to a very dark one. Regarding photos, the sensor can capture images of up to 48 megapixels.

Therefore, we can use this equipment as a kind of flying photographer that chases us to take snapshots, very similar to what we saw a few days ago with the Snap drone. This functionality is possible thanks to a new 90-degree stabilizer that allows you to take vertical photos without vibrations.
A new remote control and more autonomy
Regarding the command, we also have news. The drone can be purchased in two versions: with the DJI RC-N1 and with him DJIRC. The first is a continuous model with what we already know from DJI, without antennas and with great ergonomics. However, the really interesting model is the second. This new controller features a large 5.5-inch screen so you can perfectly control the device without having to take your phone out of your pocket. DJI ensures that you can see clearly even in direct sunlight. This new device will be able to interact with the Mini 3 Pro at a maximum distance of 12 kilometers with a live view at 1080p.
The battery also gives us a joy in this little new member of the DJI family. It is the first of his line that sees his flight autonomy increased, with a maximum time of 47 minutes thanks to the Intelligent Flight Battery Plus.
The price is no longer so Mini
With all these changes, you will be imagining that the final bill is not going to be as cheap as in previous models. And so it is. The DJI Mini 3 Pro is part of the €829 in its standard model and 999 euros on the model with the DJI RC controller. Prices that are quite far from what DJI had us used to with this line of products. However, we must remember that we are facing a pro-model. It is possible that the brand will also end up launching a standard model for a more affordable price or that they will continue to produce the DJI Mini 2 as before.
