LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will be released on consoles and PC in just over two months. Check out its trailer!
A few months before its release, the game LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga shows off a bit more in an overview trailer shared by Warner Studios. In this one, we have a glimpse of the gameplay of what should be “ the largest and breathtaking [jeu LEGO Star Wars] nowadays “. Quickly discover this huge open world replicating the story of the three Star Wars cinematic trilogies.
Indeed, Warner states that “ players will relive the epic story of all nine films of the Skywalker saga starting with their favorite trilogy. Once you have made your choice, you have access to a world filled with mysteries and action, which you will have to explore to discover new planets, and thus defeat new enemies.
To do this, you can choose between several combat classes, each with their own specificities, such as Jedi, Hero, Dark Side, Villain, Plunderer, Rascal, Bounty Hunter, Astromecan Droid and Protocol Droid. You can also embody many playable characters from the film saga, including Leia, Yoda, Boba Fett and Darth Maul. In total, over 300 characters will be available once you unlock them across the galaxy.
Your galactic adventure at your fingertips
If you know the story well, you will still be able to make your own choices, and explore the planets in the order you want. It’s an ambitious title that promises to drop you into an immersive, fan-service-filled adventure. Warner also promises a great sense of freedom which will be reinforced by in-game travel.
To move – or to fight – you can pilot many ships, some of which are legendary devices. We note for example the possibility of navigating thanks to the Millennium Falcon, the imperial TIE fighters or even the X-wings of the Rebellion. Other ships are also waiting for you on the different planets.
A release date in April
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will be released on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC next April 5, see you in more than two months to test this game. The studio specifies that those who pre-order the title will have early access to the Trooper character pack on the day of the release, which will be available a month later for those who buy the character collection pack or à la carte.
