Also released on Xbox 360, the franchise Banjo-Kazooie sees two heroes evolve: a bear named Banjo and a bird named Kazooie. In the franchise’s first title, the one coming soon to Nintendo Switch, the two sidekicks join forces to defeat the witch Grunty, who kidnapped Banjo’s sister named Tooty.
The latest licensed game is the famous Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts, which was released in 2008 on Xbox 360. But it is not likely to land in the Nintendo Switch Online catalog since it was released when the Rare studio had already been bought by Microsoft. Players could possibly see landfall Banjo-Tooie, the second installment of the franchise. This too was released for Nintendo 64 in 2000.
