Scientists from the Chemnitz University of Technology (Germany) have succeeded in developing a tiny battery whose size is equivalent to that of a grain of salt. To develop the architecture of the battery, the researchers were inspired by a pastry called “the Swiss roll”. This pastry of Austrian origin is composed of a rolled sponge cake.
