With its Tone Free range, the LG brand offers several models of wireless headphones, ranging from entry to high-end. The FN7s are the best equipped, as they finally introduce the active noise reduction technology that was sorely lacking in the old model, the FN6. The UV cleaning housing is also still in the game.

Instead of 199 euros at the start of 2021, the LG Tone Free FN7 are now available in promotion at only 69 euros on Cdiscount, or 65% reduction.

To better understand the offer

  • What is the active noise reduction of the LG Tone Free FN7 worth?

First of all, you should know that the predecessors, the LG Tone Free FN6, did not have active noise reduction. Our colleagues from Frandroid had been able to test them and they were very disappointed with the overall sound rendering, placing these wireless headphones only one point above average.

Numerama was then able to get his hands on the FN7 and it is clear that the result is much more convincing on this model, where the noise reduction is not incredible either, but does a lot of good to the acoustic performances. The sound then seems richer to better appreciate his music.

The headphones have other advantages to highlight, such as a battery life of 5 to 7 hours on a single charge and up to 15 to 21 hours with the case. The latter is also compatible with wireless charging, to facilitate daily charging if you already have an induction base at home. It also has the distinction of offering UV cleaning technology to remove 99.9% of E. coli and S. aureus bacteria on the atria, according to the brand.
