Pete Lau teased a release date earlier this year for the OnePlus 10 Pro, a significant advance on the brand’s program.
Since November, the leaks concerning the OnePlus 10 Pro have been linked but are not alike. After a passage through its array of cameras, its possible staggering price and all of its technical sheet, it is the release date of the smartphone that is being questioned today. Pete Lau, CEO of OnePlus, has teased a release on Weibo by next January.
On the Chinese social network, he simply posted a message saying ” see you in january “Preceded by the mention OnePlus 10 Pro. While the brand typically puts its smartphones on sale in the early to mid-year, around April, a release so early in the year for the OnePlus 10 Pro would be a real surprise. However, we can notice that this information absolutely does not take into account the standard model of the range, the OnePlus 10.
Is OnePlus shaking up the schedule of its releases?
An intriguing detail, knowing that the Pro version of a smartphone is almost always on sale after the standard version. So can we expect a global release for the full lineup by January? If so, why did Pete Lau only mention the Pro model? So many questions that will only be answered in a few weeks… or even a few days.
Indeed, the month of January officially begins in less than two weeks, if an announcement has to be made, it will therefore be in a very short time. Moreover, we can already expect a smartphone close to competing with the premium models of competing brands, at least in terms of its price, while promising a disappointing technical sheet.
