The Pixel Watch would have a day of autonomy, the charge would be much slower than on the Apple Watch 7

The Pixel Watch continues to reveal itself ahead of time, this time with information about its battery. According to information from 9to5Google, this would be 300 mAh, which would give the connected watch an autonomy of around one day. A relatively standard autonomy in the field, but largely weighed down by its very high charging time.

The leaks concerning the Pixel Watch are linked, and it is still to our colleagues from 9to5Google that we owe this new information. Indeed, after having taught us a little more about its processor, it is the turn of the autonomy of the connected watch to reveal itself. On this point, do not expect miracles. So, according to 9to5Google, the Pixel Watch will be powered by a 300 mAh battery.

The latter will allow the connected watch to last a full day on a single charge. 9to5Google specifies however that this result may change between now and the launch of the device. Indeed, this leak somewhat contradicts previous information, which claimed that the Pixel Watch has a large battery that would far exceed that of the Galaxy Watch 4.

The Pixel Watch would take a long time to recharge its battery

However, in the current state, it is clear that this is not really the case. On the contrary, this autonomy is relatively ssimilar to that of the Galaxy Watch 4 and all in all rather standard within the WearOS ecosystem. It should be noted, however, that we do not have details as to the use that led to this autonomy. That is, it’s unclear if the Alway-on display was on, or if sleep tracking was on.

Another downside, USB-C would only offer a very average charging time. We don’t have an exact figure yet, but we know it will be well below the Apple Watch Series 7 scores, which go from 0% to 100% in just 75 minutes. Charging time would be even even longer than the Galaxy Watch 4which takes 110 minutes to fully charge.
