The price of the iPhone 12 Pro Max drops below € 1,000

[Le Deal du Jour] The iPhone 12 Pro Max is to date the most high-end phone from Apple, and therefore the most expensive in the catalog. However, its price – in 128 GB version – is currently falling on Rakuten and goes from 1,259 euros to 999 euros.

The Max iteration at Apple is the biggest, best performing and most importantly the most expensive iPhone. The iPhone 12 Pro Max from the 2020/2021 period is no exception to the rule, but it is still possible to get it at a reduced price with certain promotions. This is precisely the case today on Rakuten, where Apple’s large-format smartphone is available at 999 euros instead of the 1,259 euros initially requested, for the model with 128 GB of storage.

This is the Japanese version of the phone, which is obviously configurable in French. However, you should know that a sound will be triggered with each captured photo, without the possibility of deactivating this notification.

To better understand the offer

  • What does the Max version offer more than the iPhone 12 Pro?

The iPhone 12 Pro Max is first of all more massive with a 6.7-inch screen, against 6.1 inches for the classic iPhone 12 Pro. Then, it has better battery life, with up to 20 hours of video playback and up to 80 hours of audio, according to Apple. All this has an impact on the weight of the smartphone which goes from 187 to 226 grams, almost 40 grams more for this Max model.

It’s exactly the same smartphone as the iPhone 12 Pro. The Max version is also equipped with an OLED screen in Quad HD definition, a powerful A14 processor compatible with 5G for high performance, and it obviously runs with the latest update of iOS.

We also find the excellent camera equipped with three sensors, including a LiDAR – as on the iPad Pro. The latter sensor is very useful for augmented reality, but it also allows you to enjoy a portrait mode in night mode or a faster autofocus in low light conditions, for example. Let’s not forget the Apple ProRAW format, which offers more possibilities for photo editing.

Finally, wireless charging via MagSafe is there, but the charger is no longer included in the box.
