From that last segment comes the news that the variant of the laptop graphics card allegedly performs up to 65% more than its predecessora, the RTX 3060 for laptops.
The GeForce RTX 4060 for notebooks will use the AD107 processor and feature 3,072 CUDA cores, 8GB of GDDR6 memory, a 128-bit memory bus interface, and a clock speed of 2,370MHz with a TDP of between 35 and 115 watts. Its main target audience is gamers, although it could be used for professional contexts or purposes that are not particularly demanding.
Information on the comparative power of the GeForce RTX 4060 for laptops comes from the Chinese forum Bilibili. There a user has posted a video with performance data from a Thunderbolt Zero series laptop equipped with Intel Core i9-13900HX as a processor, 16GB of DDR5-4800 memory and a 2,560×1,600 screen running at 240Hz. Said computer had the aforementioned graphics running at 140 watts and a frequency of up to 2.5GHz.
The first test carried out was synthetic with 3DMark. There the RTX 3060 for laptops performed 18.8% less than the RTX 4060. Moving to a real scenario, running Assassins Creed: Valhalla at 1080p you can see that the GeForce RTX 4060 for laptops is 60% faster than the RTX 3060 for laptops, 20% faster than the GeForce RTX 3060 12GB for desktop and 9% faster than the RTX 3070 Ti for laptops. With Shadow of the Tomb Raider at 1080p, the GeForce RTX 4060 for laptops performed 60% and 20% better than the same RTX 3060 variants respectively, while with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive the percentages were 75 and 20 in favor of the latest generation graphics.

Continuing with more games, albeit running at 1440p resolution, the RTX 4060 for laptops has outperformed the RTX 3060 for laptops and desktops by 65% and 5% respectively running Forza Horizon 5, in 25% and 10% on Cyberpunk 2077 (here almost tied with the RTX 3070 Ti for laptops), as well as having shown 12.5% faster than the RTX 3060 for laptops on Red Dead Redemption 2. On the exposed scenarios, the RTX 4060 for laptops has performed on average 52% more than its predecessor.
