We knew that development on The Sims 5 is underway, but what we didn’t expect was that we would see a cracked version of the game so soon. And yes, even without being finished, without launching into stores and without knowing practically anything about the game, there is already a pirated version of The Sims 5 circulating in the depths of the internet. But what exactly is it?
An unintended public beta
When EA talked about the next generation of its Sims, it announced that it would launch a testing phase so that a select few could try the first brushes of the game with the idea of testing, acting as beta testers and sharing impressions to continue shaping the intentions of the game.
But of course, did you really think that only a few were going to be able to test this beta? This decision was not liked by certain vigilantes, who have decided to hack the beta to obtain unlimited access to the test so that anyone who wants to can try The Sims 5.
What has happened?
Hacking has been more of a walk in the park. Apparently, being a beta, the program does not have any type of encryption, so the hackers have limited themselves to gaining access to the Denuvo token generator to get as many accesses as they wanted. In this way, you have access to the keys that open the door of The Sims 5, and it is not necessary to fill out the request forms that EA is in charge of supervising.

At the moment there is no information about it, since Insider Gaming has asked the hackers if they will give general access to everyone who downloads the crack, and at the moment they have remained completely silent, so there is no indication that the game will be accessible to everyone. So for now you’re going to have to stick with The Sims 4 and the best mods.
When is The Sims 5 coming out?
As we said at the beginning of this article, the game is still developing and there is still no official date that allows us to get an idea of when we can get down to work with our family of sims. It is also not clear what graphics engine it will carry, since while the beta is based on Unreal Engine, it is not entirely clear if the final version will be based on Unreal Engine 5, something that could bring a lot of realism and detail to your home decorations. And there is nothing like having a well decorated room, although with so much detail we may see even the dust, so we do not know what is worse.
