The series takes place in the same timeline as The Mandalorian, but features a character that somehow harkens back to the prequels. Former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano first appeared in the Star Wars: Clone Wars cartoon and her animated adventures continued in Star Wars: Rebels before appearing in live action in the second season of The Mandalorian and the first season of Book of Boba Fett.

Other returning cast members include Doctor Who star David Tennant as droid master Huyang, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth and Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn. . “Ahsoka” will also star Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, and Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger, among others.
