The Starfield trailer hides a pretty ridiculous bug, do you know which one?

Last June 12 Microsoft held its particular E3-style showcase within the Summer Game Fest of 2022 and we were finally able to check what the gameplay of what is considered one of the star releases of the platform will be like. We refer to Starfieldwhich seems destined to rise as one of the GOTY of 2023, the year in which it will arrive in stores after the delay announced just a few weeks ago and in which it said goodbye to the initial date of November of this year.

Colossal and spectacular, but perfect?

It is evident that if Starfield has gone from launching in November 2022 to the first half of 2023 is for no other reason than Bethesda does not have time to finish it when it was originally planned so now it remains to be seen whether that six-month period that they have given themselves will actually allow them to conclude it. Especially if we take into account that from what we have seen in its first gameplay trailer, it looks like it is truly gigantic, monstrous, herculean in dimensions and tasks that we can complete, so we can detect all potential failures in thousands of corners of the galaxy. It seems like a titanic mission.

That is precisely what brings us here, presence in a bug inside such an important trailer since it is the first one that shows what the game of exploration, collection, fighting, combat, management, customization, etc. will be like. And at such a crucial moment in its development, is it possible to understand that Bethesda slipped an error on the screen? Well, it has happened, and we owe the credits to a Reddit user who seems to have injected each of his frames into a vein until he has found something that does not fit. Do you know what?

honest trailer

Undoubtedly, this exercise in transparency by Bethesda has its merits because not all companies willingly accept releasing a gameplay presentation trailer with proof that the game has small flaws, at least at this point in its development. That moment takes place in the trailer, at minute 7:50 of which we leave you above, when a general plan appears of what seems to be the access to a Constellation enclave.

Starfield.

At the bottom you will see a couple of NPCs going in and out. Well, one of them, the one that we point out with the red arrow on the screen that you have just above, does not move normally because while his body moves forward, his head looks back, as if it were turned around and in a position that is not correct. In addition, in the same forum there is talk of a kind of shake of the NPC when the plane begins (which lasts a few frames) so it would be clear that we are facing a small bug that has not been removed on the assembly table.

Be that as it may, seeing the enormity of Starfield It doesn’t seem like something like this is going to stop us from enjoying of what looks set to be one of the biggest playable epics the times will see for many years to come. Because everything seems to indicate that this new franchise will accompany us for several eons. And hopefully it’s thanks to how good it seems to be.
