The Tres Cantos City Council today rewards its Entrepreneurship Gala, through the Department of Economic Development and Employment, to the local entrepreneurs and collaborate with them so that their business ideas come true.
According to the mayor, Jesús Moreno: “For startups, especially during their first stages of life, the economic endowments granted by contests and prizes represent an alternative means of financing through which to get the necessary impulse for the development of a project”.
For her part, the Councilor for Economic Development and Employment, Rocío García, for her part, has indicated: “With these awards we want to do our bit by recognizing original, creative and innovative projects to promote and drive local entrepreneurship, job creation and increased economic activity in Tres Cantos”.
12 projects presented
In this first edition, 12 projects have been presented that were evaluated on Tuesday, by the jury established in the bases.
Thus, in the Entrepreneurship Gala, which is held today at 7.30pm at Theater of the Adolfo Suárez Cultural Center, the prizes will be awarded with 3,000 euros for the best entrepreneurship project, with 2,000 euros for the best innovative project and a master’s degree in ‘The Core Entertaintment Science School’ – the school located on the Campus of Entertainment Sciences, within the educational project Planeta Formación y Universidades- the most innovative project in the audiovisual field.
The host of the gala, Andrés Pérez Ortega, will guide the motivational coaching ‘How to earn a living without losing it’; Tricantino entrepreneurs Lidia Rodríguez from Abadica Templo Cervecero, Pilar Brotando ‘Las flores y la vida’ and Nacho Ormeño, who will share his experience investing in startups, will participate in a round table.
In addition, there will be live music with the group ‘You Who’, networking and a gaming space, organized by the Tres Cantos coworking Workingspace. The entrance to the gala is free and free, until full capacity is reached.
