The United States will include more Chinese companies in its blacklists

U.S will continue to take action against Chinese companies, as according to Reuters will include eight companies from China, among which is the drone manufacturer DJI, to your investment blacklist, in which there are already more than 60 Chinese companies. Apparently, the US authorities will take the step this week, and possibly will do so this Thursday.

In addition, the United States Government is going to include more than two dozen Chinese companies, some dedicated to the biotechnology sector, in a different black list, which includes the entities and companies to which exports are restricted from U.S.

The United States Department of the Treasury has blacklisted the eight companies as “China Military and Industrial Complex Enterprises” for their alleged involvement in policing the Muslim Uyghur minority. As a consequence, US investors will be prohibited from buying shares in them. In the case of DJI, in addition to this list, it has been included in the export list for a year, which prevents it from buying or using technology or components from the United States.

The inclusion of more companies in the black lists of the United States comes just days after SenseTime Group, a Chinese company dedicated to Artificial Intelligence, also went to the black list of the Treasury, which has forced it to postpone its departure to bag, which had planned in IPO format in Hong Kong to achieve 767 million dollars.

Among the companies to be added to the investment blacklist are those of image recognition software Megvii, the manufacturer of supercomputers Dawning Information Industry, the facial recognition specialist CloudWalk Technology, the cybersecurity group Xiamen Meiya Peak, the Artificial Intelligence company Yitu Technology and cloud computing companies Leon Technology Y NetPosa Technologies.
