The US will accept these vaccine mixtures approved by the WHO and FDA.

The government of The United States reported that it will allow the entry of people whose vaccination schedule with different types of drugs, which are approved by the World Health Organization (WHO). Which will apply from November 8.

The foregoing was confirmed by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and its spokesperson indicated that the “people who have a combination of two (different) doses of a dual-dose vaccine that has been licensed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA, for its acronym in English or is on the WHO emergency use list, vaccines with the full schedule will be considered ”.

The CDC has not recommended mixing biologics in a primary series, he specified, “we recognize that this is increasingly common in other nations, so it should be accepted for the interpretation of vaccination tests.”

The vaccines that the WHO has authorized by the FDA:

  • Pfizer / BioNTech
  • Modern
  • Janssen (from Johnson & Johnson)
  • AstraZeneca
  • Sinopharm
  • Sinovac

While the vaccines that are not listed were Sputnik V and CanSino, which were administered in Mexico. President Andrés Manuel López Obrador has asked the WHO to speed up the process to include vaccines on the emergency list.
