The Wheel of Time: a teaser reveals the logo and release of the series

While Amazon recently renewed the series for a second season even before its debut, a teaser trailer published in these hours on the social channels of Prime Video revealed the logo and release period de The Wheel of Time.

Here is the official tweet that revealed the logo of the series, confirming that the same will arrive on the video on demand service in the course of 2021.

Plot and details of the series

The cast of the TV series consists of Rosamund Pike in the role of Moiraine, Josha Stradowski in that of Rand al’Thor; Marcus Rutherford in the role of Perrin Aybara; ZoĆ« Robins to interpret Nynaeve; Barney Harris in the role of Mat Cauthon is Madeleine Madden in that of Egwene Al’Vere.

The fantasy epic is set in a vast, epic world where magic exists, but only women can use it.

The story follows the adventures of Moiraine, a member of the dark and influential women’s organization called Aes Sedai, as she embarks on a perilous journey into the world with five young men and women.

Moiraine believes that one of them may be the reincarnation of an incredibly powerful individual, who prophecies claim can save humanity or, instead, destroy it. The series draws on numerous elements of European and Asian culture and philosophy, particularly the theme of the cyclical nature of time found in Buddhism and Hinduism.

Among the names involved in the production of the show we find Rick Selvage is Larry Mondragon by Red Eagle Entertainment; Ted Field is Mike Weber by Radar Pictures e Rafe Judkins (Agents of SHIELD, Chuck) as showrunner.

The Wheel of Time is a famous and acclaimed fantasy literary saga popular around the world that has sold over 90 million copies.

Author Robert Jordan wrote the fourteen books of the epic over the course of two decades and is commonly regarded as one of the epic-fantasy authors who contributed to the literary renaissance of the genre.
