The Pixel 7a, the Google experience at a low price without compromise

As with the Pixel 7s, the real star of this spec sheet is the Tensor G2 chip, the second iteration of Google’s in-house processor and therefore a first improvement over its predecessor. Thanks to the latter, the Pixel 7a benefits from all the improvements made possible by AI, whether in terms of photos, performance or voice recognition. This is accompanied by 8 GB RAM and of 128 GB of storage.

Another notable improvement: the refresh rate of the screen finally goes to 90Hz, compared to 60 Hz previously. It is moreover a 6.1 inch FHD OLED display. The set is powered by a battery 4385mAhcompatible with 18W charging as well as, another novelty, 7.5W wireless charging. Finally, the smartphone can connect to 5G networks as well as WiFi 6E.

There remains the eternal strong point of the Pixels: the photo. For this, the Pixel 7a can count on its main sensor of 64MP which allows it to shoot in 4K 60 FPS. It is supported by a wide-angle sensor of 13 MP and 120 degrees. Thanks to these, the smartphone is able to take very good photos in low light with the Night Vision mode, in addition to taking advantage of all the retouching options of Google Photos, such as Magic eraser and Anti-blur. .

The Pixel 7a is marketed from 509 €.
