Today, during the WitcherCon, the first virtual event organized by Netflix is CD Projekt Red and dedicated to fans and the universe of The Witcher, the streaming giant has announced the release date of The Witcher 2 which will arrive with new episodes in December.
The highly anticipated news was announced during the panel “Cards of Destiny”, along with cast members Anya Chalotra, Freya Allan, Mimî M Khayisa, Paul Bullion and the showrunner and executive producer of the show Lauren Schmidt Hissrich.

The second season of The Witcher will be available on the Netflix streaming catalog from Friday 17 December 2021.
A second season teaser art was also unveiled in this surprise announcement, featuring Geralt of Rivia (Henry Cavill) e Ciri, the princess of Cintra (Freya Allan), which marked just the beginning of what is yet to be announced at WitcherCon.
