There are 4 Mac models with M2 in the works but Mark Gurman says only one will be released in March

Mac mini with M1 is the fastest single-core processor

There is less left for spring and we have to keep in mind that this is when Apple events usually happen. In fact we can have the first of them in sight at the beginning of March. Mark Gurman tells us in his newsletter that next March 8 we could have new devices presented. However, regarding the Mac it seems that although there are still several models to launch with M2, we will only see one. It seems that a refreshed Mac mini will come to the fore that day.

Gurman has ventured to say that next March 8 Apple will hold the first event of the year. In that case, It will be one of the earliest events since a few years. If I remember correctly, I think we have to go back to 2015. The fact is that the Bloomberg analyst says that at that event Apple will not lavish itself with the presentation of new Macs. We will only see the Mac mini with a new chip and Apple Silicon.

That means Apple’s long-awaited transition to having its own processors, every day is closer to becoming a reality. But the agony is prolonged, considering that since that step was announced there are still models that have not gone over to the side of speed and power. Because if the new Macs can boast of something with that own Apple processor and with those M1 chip, it is to be authentic machines that have surprised all the users and companies that are using it.

We will have to wait until March 8 to know if only that Mac model is actually presented or if, on the contrary, it surprises us with the long-awaited Mac Pro with Apple Silicon. For now, we can only trust what Gurman tells us, who, by the way, is a highly respected analyst with a high rate of success in these matters.
