These AMD and Intel processors are discounted for less than €250

We have first the processor AMD Ryzen 5 5600which has up to 6 cores based on the Zen 3 architecture. As an alternative we have the Intel Core i5-9600KF, another 6-core processor, but has been on the market for a few years. Both are very good options for the price they offer.

AMD Ryzen 5 5600, a processor that can handle everything

We have seen over the months (and years) like this innovative AMD architecture has managed to match the solutions of the competition. Although in some respects they are still somewhat behind, in general, there are very few differences between the processors of both brands. Zen architecture has been shown as an innovative and solid solution.

Let’s see what this AMD Ryzen 5 5600 processor offers us. The first thing that stands out about this processor is its 6 cores of Zen 3 architecture and that it has 12 processing threads. Work this processor at a 3.5GHz frequency and in mode Boost reaches 4.4 GHz. It has a total of 32 MB of L3 cache and an adjusted TDP of 65 W.

This processor has support for two quite interesting technologies. The first is AMD StoreMI, which allows you to combine an HDD and an SSD, and thus improve the performance of the first storage units. It also has support for VR-Ready Premium, which focuses on offering users the best system performance when using virtual reality systems.

Possibly one of the best processors that we can buy today and that has a really interesting price. This processor is ideal for studying, working, gaming and streaming, among others.

Intel Core i5-9600KF, an “old” rocker

Sometimes it is not necessary to buy the latest on the market to have an excellent gaming processor. Above all, in the case of Intel, we can find “old” processors that still have a lot to say. The good thing about these older processors is that the motherboards for them are usually quite cheap.

About the Intel Core i5-9600KF processor, say that it began to be marketed in the first quarter of 2019. This processor has 6 cores based on 14nm process and it also has 6 processing threads. This processor works at a 3.7 GHz base frequency and in modo Boost can reach 4.6 GHz. It has 9 MB of L3 cache, lacks integrated graphics and has a TDP of 95 W.

This processor has several interesting technologies. The first is that it has a power saving state when it is idle, which is practically as if it is not working. It has different temperature monitoring sensors, so that it always works within optimal parameters.

This processor has a big drawback, and that is that lacks hyperthreading, which worsens the processor’s performance for multitasking. Of course, it is still an excellent processor, by frequency, for gaming.
