Funko, over the past few years, has turned the Marvel Cinematic Universe into one of its most popular… and profitable franchises among fans. That’s why the company responsible for the Pop! It has also been launched to release pieces based on the series of the Disney + streaming platform. So you couldn’t miss one of his most recent hits, which has caused an intense fever by the moon knight and his reincarnation on Earth, known by the name of Marc Spector.
Guaranteed success with the series
as we say, Moon Knight It has been the last of these fictions to reach the Pop format, and it is that with this new installment in the UCM Funko has continued with the strategy that began with Loki and continued with Hawk Eye, to present and launch the figures week by week along with each of the episodes that premiere. Reason? It is imperative for Marvel to avoid spoilers, unlike what happened with WandaVision, Falcon and the Winter Soldier either What If…?where Funko presented the collection in one fell swoop as soon as it was released and some fans realized that they were revealing some other little secret of the plot lines.
If we look at the figures of moon knight we can see a very interesting collection (to this day). Of first, the Egyptian touches of the figures already give it a distinctive look compared to other pieces based on Marvel. The first to be announced was Moon Knight himself (right above) in an attack-like pose, with a glow-in-the-dark version that will be exclusive to the Hot Topic store.
The following week, and on the occasion of the second episode, two new pieces were announced that joined the collection, in this case we found Mr. Knight, the version of Moon Knight controlled by the personality of Steven Grant, which comes equipped with its two attack staffs; and of course, the enigmatic villain of the series, Arthur Harrow, played by Ethan Hawke -on these lines. In addition, Mr. Knight will also have a glow-in-the-dark version that we can find in the Walmart store chain.
Finally, another couple of figures have been announced, in this case those of Layla, Marc Spector’s adventure partner, equipped with the beetle so important for the course of the series (and about which we will not say much), and to the Egyptian god of the Moon, Khonshu, the intriguing entity that haunts the minds of our protagonists.
As added, Khonshu will have its own version that shines in the dark (exclusive to Boxlunch stores). In addition, due to the images provided of the piece, it is speculated that it could be a figure with a size of 6 inches, that is, larger than the average of normal Pop figures.
According to several reports, we would still have a couple of ads with figures from the series until you can have the entire collection, including, supposedly, a movie moment and several other exclusives.
