FUT Heroes become Super Heroes
FIFA 23 will go on sale next Friday September 30th. Little by little, these days we are knowing many of the details that this new installment of the video game will have. The real surprise of this edition are the new cards of FUT Heroeswho will return again, only with marvel illustrations.
FUT Heroes is a type of special FIFA Ultimate Team card that was introduced in FIFA 22. They featured mythical players, with special illustrations. On this occasion, the idea will remain, but the drawings will be courtesy of Marvel, which has not missed the opportunity to sign a collaboration with EA Sports. The agreement is not only limited to FUT23, as balls and other objects of merchandise which are to be confirmed.
Which players will be part of FUT23 Heroes x Marvel?
For now, 5 players have been published on the official website of Electronic Arts. the ultimate collection will have a total of 21 cards. All the selected players will have their illustration related to some moment in their career as Internationals.
Landon Donovan – The Brave
The United States is not particularly noted for football, but Electronic Arts wanted to pay tribute to this midfielder. In his country they called him ‘Captain America’, so Marvel has not had a very difficult time representing what the press considers one of the best American players in history.
Ricardo Carvalho – The Anticipator

His football career was really prolific, going through Monaco, Barcelona and Manchester City. Many consider him a hero both for his exploits and for not having thrown in the towel in the hardest moments of his personal life.
Park Ji-Sung – Tigerheart
This South Korean was part of the initial 11 players who unfairly eliminated us that fateful June 22, 2022 at the World Cup in which he played at home. He had a lot of nicknames, with ‘Duracell’ being one of the most endearing. He participated in three World Cups. After his first spell as an international he was signed by PSV Eindhoven. Later he was transferred to Manchester United and retired in the Netherlands team.
