This fortnight, Xbox Game Pass takes more than it gives you

Some who arrive and others who leave

Xbox Game Pass news for the month of September (for its first fortnight) are captained by Final Fantasy XIII, Surgeon Simulator 2 (coming in the form of a new release Day One) and the addictive Nuclear Throne, but if there is something you could call truly the attention to many users are the goodbyes, and it is that two great ones disappear from the service forever.

On the one hand, Red Dead Online will go out of service on September 13 on Console and in the Cloud, thus leaving the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the world of Rockstar’s Wild West, where you can become a renowned bounty hunter and complete the many challenges on offer. The game arrived independently in December 2020, so if you want to continue playing you will have to buy it.

The other great loss comes in the form of a simulator, since Forza Motorsport 7 will disappear from the Cloud, Console and PC on September 15, this being another great farewell to the service. With this release from the catalog, lovers of the Forza saga will have to wait for the launch of Forza Horizon 5 on November 9.

The rest of the games that are leaving the service are (all on September 15):

  • Company of Heroes 2 (PC)
  • Disgaea 4 (PC)
  • Hotshot Racing (Cloud and Console)
  • The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics (Cloud, Console and PC)
  • Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales (Cloud and Console)
